Honda aiming to maintain growth The Hindu
Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India aimed to assert its 20 per cent growth rate in 2010-11, a associates official said.
“We have been growing at the rate of 18-20 per cent every year and this year too we are enceinte the same”, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Vice-President, Operating-Paramount (Manufacturing) V Sridhar told reporters.
The company, which sold 10.7 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters last year, would take it to 12.5 lakh units this year, he said.
For 2011-12, the circle has projected to sell 15.5 lakh units. Sridhar was here to officially bare the 110cc variant “CB Twister” in the southern store.
Newer versions of auto-scooter Dio and 125 cc motorcycle CBF Stunner were also introduced on the occasion.
The wicked version of 110cc CB Twister is priced at Rs 43,650 (ex-showroom Chennai) for a self-drum temper while the top-end model is priced at Rs 49,650 (ex-showroom Chennai). The new Dio is priced at Rs 38,469 (ex-showroom Chennai) while the refurbished CBF Stunner Rs 52,300 (ex-showroom Chennai).
